The Ronkonkoma Train Station, The Parking Lot 50 Acres and the potential connection to a new north side entrance the MacArthur Airport. Until recently, JLL was chosen as the developer but was apparently not bringing the process forward fast enough for the New Suffolk County Executive Ed Romaine.
In Feb 2025, New York State Governor Kathy Hochel awarded Islip 150 million dollars and Suffolk County added another 50 million with no exact purpose with talks about infrastructure and improvements around Ronkonkoma.
Ronkonkoma North is being built and developed by Tritec and is considered at this point a seperate project with connection of the north and south sides eventually going in.
