Gov. Hochul wants to build 800,000 affordable housing apartments in and around New York City. The plan is to let state officials overrule the development decisions of local governments.
Gov. Hochul said she favors mandating communities within half a mile of railroad stations.. Multi family housing in 2 and 4 story buildings.
