It’s hard to imagine all the resorts here on Lake Ronkonkoma. Between 1900 and 1945, Our area was known to clean water, fresh air pine trees and a way for NYC residents to go on vacation. The addition of Motor Parkway expanded it even further.
Once World War 2 was active, this area started to become a place where people lived all year round.
